Academic Success Depends On Research and Publications

The research activities of the department are carried out with the aim of providing benefits and betterment for humanity. The department conducts research with consistent supervision which results in learning and application of recent technologies leading to innovative inventions and patents. Several research scholars are pursuing research and development in Energy Engineering, Manufacturing and Materials, Green Building Technologies, Welding Technologies and Thermal Engineering.

The department is actively engaged in research in the potential areas of Mechanical Engineering such as Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, Biomass Gasifier, Biogas Plant, Bio-Diesel, Multi-Fuel Operated Engine, and Heat Exchangers.

The department has research projects funded by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) to the tune of more than 15 lakhs for conducting research in Biomass Gasifier.
